MicroCHP & CHP

Combined Heat and Power is an engine or turbine that creates electricity, while doing this it produces a vast amount of heat that can be usefully employed in heating water or space.

This technology has been established for over 150 years and is hugely reliable. An efficient use of CHP is in blocks of flats, houses with swimming pools or small hotels. We offer a variety of fuels to run CHP units with our favourite being biomass.

microCHP is based on its larger cousin CHP but differs where heat is generated for domestic use with currently a small amount of electricity produced by a Sterling engine.

Our Treadlighter Plus™ energy survey includes a detailed suitability assessment leading to system design, specification and a complete installation, commissioning and certification service.
