Henton Manor, Oxfordshire

Project Outline

This immaculate new country house was finished to the highest specification and set within an estate of 26 acres. The property features extensive facilities and being off the gas grid, the owner was keen to utilise Solar PV technology to reduce annual electricity consumption and help the environment.

With planning consent applied for and granted, we designed and installed a low-level ground-mounted 49.92 kWp Solar PV system featuring all black panels so as to ensure that the visual impact is as unobtrusive as possible. A 180m buried cable delivers the solar power to the inverters and the via the distribution board to the main house and ancillary buildings and facilities

The system generates 45,715 kWh of electricity per annum, the majority of which is used by the property and saves 23.7 tonnes of CO2 pa.
