Although well designed and properly installed, Solar PV is inherently a robust and reliable technology, equipment and connection failures along with accidental breakages do occur.

With return on investment one of the key ‘decisions to purchase’, any down time and hence loss of production is costly for all system owners.

We service and maintain systems we have installed as well as those installed by others providing two options both designed to keep your system professionally maintained and in full working order.

AMC – Annual Maintenance Contract

One annual fee covers all planned and any reactive servicing required to maintain your system in full working order giving you peace of mind and added ROI security.

What’s Included?

  • Annual service, test & safety inspection visit with summary report
  • Call-out priority
  • Labour costs for any additional breakdown servicing required during the year
  • Parts free of charge when under warranty
  • Fast ordering replacement parts service
  • Emergency Cover
  • Panel cleaning once every 3 years (subject to safe access defined at start)

What does it cost?

Our Annual Maintenance Contracts start from as little as £25 + vat per month pending the system size.

Please note: If we have not installed your system an initial inspection & test visit will be required prior to us confirming the annual cost. If any remedial work is required to bring your system up to our high operational standards, a quotation will be provided for your consideration and approval.

Reactive Servicing

For those who prefer not to have an Annual Maintenance Contract we provide reactive breakdown servicing based on a call-out fee and hourly rate.

What’s Included?

Initial call-out charge covering travel & the first hours labour.

System fault-finding, diagnostics & operational assessment.

If the system can be restored to full working order within 1 hour and no additional materials or replacement parts are required, then there would be no extra cost.

If further labour and/or replacement parts are required to return your system to full operational order a quotation will be provided for your approval.

Equipment costs included when within guarantee period.

What does it cost?

Call-out within M25 including first hour – £125.00 + VAT

Thereafter £75.00 + VAT per hour

Treadlighter can also provide system monitoring.

From a stand-alone device, your phone or computer showing your systems performance to a comprehensive system monitoring service where performance of each and every PV module is measured and communicated across existing power lines in order to maximise solar power harvesting at all times and reduce maintenance cost and time.

Managed by us this allows for enhanced maintenance and yield assurance, fault detection and automatic alerts along with meter readings to FIT providers.
